Noble and Major Arnold. Jan 31, 1951 William Milliere, Sr. Orkney Island Native Archdeacon W.G.O. Thompson conducted the funeral service at the McClure Funeral Home last Wednesday for William L. Milliere, St., who died the previous Sunday at Guelph General Hospital. Mr. Mililere was a native of the Orkney Islands where he was born eighty years ago. He was the son of the late Philip Milliere and Virginia Poligeau. Born in Fayette, Iowa, she was the eldest daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Ivens. Her husband predeceased her (1941) some years ago. July 4, 1914 Mr. J.W. Mr. Norwich was born in Limehouse, Ont. in 1860 and had resided in Toronto for 67 years. Many old friends and business acquaintances attended the funeral the service being conducted by Rev. Noble Hatton. Interment took place at Mount Pleasant cemetery. June 15, 1953 Mrs. William Ritchie Buried at Limehouse Acton last Friday for Mrs. William Ritchie, who had been the object of a search since the previous Sunday. She was found near her home, R.R. 4, Acton, late Tuesday evening. Mrs. Ritchie, who was in her 62nd year, was born at Campbellville and was a life-long resident of Halton county. She was married in 1920 to William J. Ritchie, who predeceased her. She lived on the farm at R.R. 4, for about 30 years. She was the daughter of the late John Heatley and Maria Jones. Surviving Mrs. Ritchie are a daughter and two sons, Mrs. John Glendenning (Eva) and William G. of Rockwood and Thomas C.E., at home; and two brother, John Heatley, Guelph, and Daniel Jeatley Kearney.
