The Sunshine Gals a.k.a. Jo, Marlene, Robyn and Linda are delighted to conclude their W.I.S.H. journey by revealing their cheerful smiles. Dr. Seuss’s quote, ‘If you persevere and refuse to give up, you can accomplish your goals in the end’ reflected his writings in the ‘Green Eggs and Ham’. This was the much needed motivation we needed to keep trying. And that we did. Over and over again. By staying with the task at hand, we continued to move forward, step by step, line by line. It certainly gave us a sense of joy and warmed our inner spirits when Clue # 6 was completed. As has become our custom upon completion of each clue, we celebrated our teamwork with fellowship, food and fun…today visiting downtown Paris.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the W.I.S.H. committee for creating this year-long event that had us stretch our minds while learning and creating a variety of tasks.
Happy 125th Anniversary to the Women’s Institute. We wish you well in all your future endeavours.
