- GOLDEN GIRLS SURGERY EXPERIMENT
Surgeons, L – R, Dr. Liz Harrison, R.E. (Royal Expert), Dr. Louise McLennan, CQ (Craft Queen), Dr. Carol Miller, C.G. (Cookie Grandma) and Dr. Evelyn Arthur, J.A.T. (Jack of All Trades), reported for surgery which was scheduled for 2 PM. The operating room (a.k.a. farm workshop) was located next to a small farm pumpkin patch. Two pumpkins were harvested there and the remainder were locally sourced.
Surgical instruments were assembled and suitable facial transformations by the Plastic Surgeons were researched for the expressionless patients. Scalpels (a.k.a. carving knives) were used to make incisions on the upper portion of each patient. Unwanted soft matter and hard nodules were removed from the cavity.
The amateur surgeons worked their magic. The patients were given beautifully shaped eyebrows, glowing eyes and expressive mouths. Nose jobs were not necessary. Tea lights were transplanted into each cavity. Recovery time was minimal as no anaesthetic was administered prior to surgery. Following the surgery, four sets of twinkling eyes and great smiles brightened up the room.
You could not wipe the smiles off the surgeons faces. They were very pleased with their experiment! All agreed it was fun but also decided to retire there scalpels, at least until next October. - Notes
