- Our team invited Liz French, a sister-in-law of one of our team members, to have coffee with us at Harbour View Marina on Friday the 9th of September. We were on the patio of the restaurant and the boat ramp was right beside us. We observed a few boats going out that had their fishing lines ready. All team members were present. We discussed the role of Women's Institute and outlined the programs that we are doing for the remainder of 2022. We presented Liz with a book mark, as shown in the photo, and each of us took one to keep. We have invited Liz and Tootie to come to our meetings and think they might enjoy meeting other members of our Institute. We talked about other current events i.e., the Queen's death and the changes this will make; the boating and fishing in the area and what they have done. We all enjoyed the fellowship of the afternoon and hope to do it again in the near future.
