Left to mourn his passing are Constance Seymour, his wife; a brother George of Kincardine; sisters Janet McConnell and Christina Ibbitson of Mildmay. He was born on May 29, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. William McKenzie, formerly of Kincardine township. passed away in Detroit on December 6, 1973. He was born in 1891, son of Murdoch McKenzie and Katherine McLeod. 'He was a member of the Flying Corps during World War I. Stanley J. Ostrowski, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan on Satur- day, November 24, 1973. Also left in mourn are three brothers. One brother and two sisters predeceased her. Mourning their loss are her husband, one son John A. and his wife Marjorie, two grand, sons Bill and Bob and two step grandsons Jim and Harvey Cragg of Hyde Park. She taught school years before settling farm on the fifth line They moved to Bervie Mrs. Otto Hewitt, the former Rachel (Rae) Arnold passed away in the Kincardine Hospital on November 28 after nve month's illness. She was in her seventy-sixth year. Mr. Avery is the beloved husband of Mynona Palmer and dear father of Mrs. June Taylor of Timmins and Julie, Mrs. Frank Mahaffy of Tiver- ton. He also leaves to mourn six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Farrell and Mrs. Jack Anderson of Kincar- dine. He was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. Jnhh Joseph Hodgins passed away at his home in Greenock Township on Dec. 13, 1973 as a result of a coronary attack. For some time previous he had been in poor health. Born March 3, 1915 in Kinloss Township, he was the eldest son of the late Samuel Hodgins and Emily Stanley. The family moved to the 2nd of Bruce, 1918, where he attended Sunday School at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Glamis and public school at School Section 4 Bruce. In August 1908 she was married to Walter James Shelton who predeceased her eight years ago last June. On February 27, 1943, he married Florence Lewis of Kin. cardine Township. They resided on the 10th concession of Kincardine township until the fall of 1945, then moved to the 6th of Greenock where he resided until his death. Born in Brute township she was the daughter of the late Theodore Holtz and Mary Jane Grogan. Besides his wife, he is sur- vived by four sons William of Kinloss township, Edward oi" Kincardine tganship, Thomas and Charles both at home, two grandchildren, and three brothers James of Kinloss, Francis of Kincardine township and Stanley of'i'ls'nis. There passed away suddenly on Friday the 21st of December 1973 Mary Jane Holtz in her 90th year. JOHN JOSEPH HODGINS Scrpvy MARY JANE HOLTZ M William MacKenzie Thacker passed away in his eightieth year at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Southampton on Sun- day January 20, 1974. He was born in Kinlnss Township June 7, 1894, son of the late Edward and Isobel (MacKenzie) Thacker. In 1920 he married the former Jane Irene Stewart and resided at Kingarf where he farmed, later moving tn Int 28, concession nine of Kincardine Township. Upon retirement Willis took up residence in rp/vide,', until the passing of his wife in 1967. He then spent his sut> needing years with his sons Earl and Ralph and more recently resided at Ripley. Left to mourn his passing are two sons, Earl of Sauble Beach, Ralph of Bramalea and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter., Bernice in 1940 and by une brother Latchford. Harold Elmo Collins of RR 5, Kigcardine, passed away in the Kincardine and District General Hospital on Mar. 3, 1974, as a result of cancer. Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, three sons, Mervyn W. Collins, RR 5, Kincardine, Bur- ton H. Collins of Kincardine and Bevan W. Collins of Gait; -one daughter, Gwenyth (Mrs. Robert E, Farrell) of RR 1, Kincardine and ted grand- children. o Mr. Collins was born oh the fifth concession of Kincardine Township on April 13, 1905, a son of Harry Collins and Sarah Ann Griffith. He married Ina May Needham in the Bervie Anglican Parsonage in Novem- ber, 1931. He was an active choir member and elder of Chalmers United Church. Interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor. She was born at Armow, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elliot Jarrrell, and attere ded Armow Public School. - Mrs. Emma Irene Ouellette of 369 Chappus Street.
