At the October meeting" of Browns Wonfen's Institute a travelogue on Russia was presented by Dr. Isabel Black of Stratford._She had spent two weeks in Russia along with 26 other peo- ple, including Dr. Lois Wilson, former Moderator of the United Church of Canada. Mrs. David Miller was thanked for.making the craft taken to this meeting. _ Mrs. Murray Kingdom expressed thanks to everyone present and to everyone who had taken part in the program. She also extended an invitation to members, husbands and friends to attend the November meeting, when a special speaker would be present. A lunch of pumpkin pie and ice cream was served with Russian tea. Mrs. John Richardson was the winner of a contest on trees, con- ducted by Mrs. William Switzer.
