Helen and _ Earle McCormack of R.R. 1, Frankford, formerly of Colborne, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 25, at Trenton Royal Canadian Legion hall. Frankford _ _ C &fi? Earle‘s gift to Helen was an anniversary ring. Approximately 250 guests . attended. The anniversary cake was made and decorated by Helen. Bridesmaid . Barbara Reynolds _ and . Mrs. McCormack‘s daughters, daughtersâ€"inâ€"law and granddaughter wore gold corsages. They were married May 25, 1946, in Frankford United Church. Rev. H. H. Lackey officiated. Helen received their guests wearing a white twoâ€"picce dress with a gold rose corsage. She wore the same gold and pearl necklace that she had worn 50 years before. It was given to her by her Grandmother Bird and had been given to her by her husband, Helen‘s grandfather, Wm. Bird. All their children attendâ€" ed. Sons and sonsâ€"inâ€"laws wore gold boutonnieres, also their twoâ€" and threeâ€" year old grandsons. _ Mrs, McCormack‘s wedâ€" ding dress was on display. Mr. McCormack wore a gold rose boutonniere.
