The Option to hold to at least 1972.. During 1970, Mrs. Frank Lee vacated the Home and she rented it to reliable tenants -- the Wayne 000mb family. April, 1971: At the Spring Board Meeting of FWIO, resignations were received, and accepted, from the former committee, Mrs. Russell Wise of Puslinch and sure. Allan Diokenson, Mount Hope. Mrs. Austin Zoeller, New Hamburg, President of FWIO, was appointed Chairman of the Committee, with Mrs. Wm. G. Miller, Secretary-treasurer of FWIO. November 9, 1971: The death of Mrs. Frank Lee was a great shock to all concerned. June 15th, 1972: The option was picked up by the Committee. Terms of sale included that the home must be occupied at all times. The Hostess and family would use part of the house -- to be made into an apartment --- act as custodians, and take care of the grounds. June 15th, 1972: Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Coombs hired as hostesses.
