LEE FAMILY FURNISHINGS continued 2 Desk in the dining room --- Grandmother Lee (Abram's wife) left most of her furniture to Marjorie, one piece of which was a beautiful old walnut dropleaf table which had the extension legs that pulled out to hold the leaves. It was in the home, and Frank wanted a desk in the dining room, 'where the telephone always seemed to ring at mealtime', so he used the walnut table and had it built into the bay window. The chandelier is not an original, but is of vintage style. The W is another treasure, and additional ones have been donated through the Women's Institutes to make a set in the pioneer kitchen. Note the dinner bells hanging infront of the blue curtain . above .
