Maple Keys JWI After putting their gardens to bed last fall, Branch members raised funds by buying bulbs and perennials from each other. New developments in good nutrition and a dis- cussion about comfort foods was enhanced by 4-H members who prepared a recipe from their fruit and vegetable project. Healthy ways to handle the stress of the Christmas season was the topic for their November meeting. And the tradition of auctioning hand-made items and donating small gifts or cash to women in need was continued. London Area WI In honour of the newly elected President, approximately 300 people attended a “Friends of Marg Harris” evening at the Komoka Community Centre, The event was sponsored by the London Area WI. Entertainment was provided by “The Pep- pertones. A "Tribute to Marg in Song." written by Dorothy Dobie. was performed by Dorothy Sutherland and Irene Hansford. The South Lobo Women's Institute per- formed a skit - "The Trial of Marg Harris." After tributes from her family. Middlesex North WI and Peggy Knapp. ACWW Area President for Canada. Marg was presented with a Life Membership from her Branch, South Lobo W'l.
