Try it! --~..---------..--..-..._ Attention WI Tour Organizers There has been considerable interest from WI Branches outside the St George area to plan dayAtrips to visit the Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead. With this in mind, Curator Sue Doiron is now coordinating one and two-day trips for the year 2000. In addition to a visit to the Homestead, the village of St. George offers Victorian architecture, quaint tea rooms and unique gift shops. There are numerous sites and activities within a 5 to 20 minute proximity of the Homestead. They include: apple orchards: ginseng farms; a Jewelery company; antique and pottery shops; factory outlets (including Mary Maxims); architectural walkingtours; and, boat rides on the Grand River. It you are interested, contact Sue Doiron. She can be reached at the Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead, 359 Blue Lake Rd., St. George 0N NOE 1N0, Phone. Sig-44871130. Have You Noticed! Office For various reasons, the idea to compile the poetry book was shelved Once again, the idea was revived last summer at a Marketing Committee Meeting However, it is the Board’s decision that the compilation of a poetry book using the poems collected several years ago is not feasible Sorry for the anticipation and any inconvenience this may have caused those who made submissions The poems remain on file at the FWIO ProvinCIaI Office -.â€"â€"-.---....-a..-a.-a-..-- Don't be so serious You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive Two wrongs are only the beginning The problem With the gene pool is that there IS no lifeguard.
