They felt that this would in no way detract from or interfere with the ROSE Health Program. or other programs that may be developed under the auspices of ROSE â€" rural antan'o sharing educa- tion - FOR WOMEN. International Quilt Block Competition The Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW) Triennial Conference Committee and the Ontario Coordinating Committee (OCC) in- vited all WI members last fail to enter an International Quilt Block Competition. The al- most 400 submissions are being made into quilts and cushions and will be rattled With the pro- ceeds going to Conference 2001. Tickets for the quilts and other items will be sold at the Women’s Institute Booth at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. When you stop at the Booth. be sure to ask. FCE Michigan Exchange A member of the Federated Women's Institutes of Ontario (FWIO) will be selected to participate in the lntemational Exchange and Study Pro- gram with the Michigan Association for Family & Community Education. The purpose of the pro- gram is to increase the understanding of others and to help FWIO members gain a deeper insight into the people of another country. The Exchange will occur some time between May and October over a three to five day period at a time agreeable to the hostess and applicant. FWIO has made up to $500 available to the successful applicant to help cover the cost of travel (etc). Watch for more details.
