Russell Village WI posters were hung depictâ€" ing the Branch activities, the oversized WI logo was prominently located and the WI brochures were displayed under plastic for people to read as they ate their sandwiches and pie, Donning our blue WI aprons and our beaming smiles, we prepared to promote and sell our homemade food items. as well as the WI, to our captive audience. Our reputation for good service, good food and beaming smiles has made us a real going concern for the past 12 years at the Fall Fair. What a wonderful day and a half of business. We sold over 300 sandwiches and pieces of pie Through the generosity ofour Wl membership and our faithful clientele. our profit exceeded $1 ,100. This is one of the several fundraisers we hold that enables us to do the community work that we all find so rewarding! We were prepared and hopefully will gain several new members as a result.
