FOR YOUR INFORMATION Erland Lee (Museum) Home Coming Events: The first Niagara Heritage Book Fair Saturday Feb. 21, 2009 The Erland Lee Museum will be one ofthe participants at the Niagara Heritage Book Fair presented by the Grimsby Archives. The Fair will take place in the old Carnegie Library at 25 Adelaide Street Grimsby from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. For more information call Grimsby Archives at 905-309-0796. March Break at the Lee- Wednesday March 18to Friday March 20 The Lee will be hosting workshops for children Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am to noon. There will be three different workshops: Teddy Bear Making Workshop Wednesday March 13. Children ages 6 and up, will learn to hand sew and decorate an 8 inch plush teddy bear. The price for this workshop is $8.00 per bear making participant, or $4.00 for nonebear/ doll making participant. Doll Making Workshop Thursday March 19. A new workshop! Children ages 6 and up. will learn how to make and decorate dolls. The price for this workshop is $8.00 per doll making participant, or $4.00 for non-doll making Gadgets, Games, and Goo Friday March 20. Children five and up, Will use everyday items to create exciting and interesting effects from rockets to home made silly putty. The price is $5.00. Prices for all workshops include an optional museum tour and hot chocolate/ coffee Parental assistance/ participation is recommended, Pre-registration is required by 4pm Saturday March 8th. Pancake Breakfast- March 28, from 8 am. to noon Join us for our Annual Pancake Breakfast on March 28th as we celebrate nature’s first signs of Spring, the maple syrup season.
