Now I’m giving you .ome suggestions for using that wonderful mixture to remind you of your favorite summer perfumes all winter long. Wall Decoration Materials: wooden or plastic embroidery hoop lace or net fabric (old lace curtains are fine!) narrow ribbon for bow colorful potpourri mixture, about 1/4 cup (75 mL) The larger the pieces in the mixture the better â€" they won't fall out through holes in the net. optional â€" dark colored fabric or paper â€" ruffled lace trim. Method 1 i This arrangement is not permanent. Hoop can be re- moved and mixture replaced. 3) Cut two circles of lace or net 2" (5 cm) larger than the hoop all around. (If hoop has a 5" diameter, the circle will be 9" in diameter.) b) Place lower section of hoop on table. Centre one circle of lace on hoop. Place potpourri mixture in centre of hoop on lace. Lay second lace circle ex- actly over first circle. Put on upper section of hoop and screw tightly, Petals will be enclosed between two layers of lace. c) Make a ribbon bow and at- tach to hide screw on hoop. This is the top of the decorâ€" ation. Method 2 â€" This arrangement is permanent. as the parts are glued together. 3) Cut a circle of dark colored fabric or paper the same size as lower section of hoop. Glue to back of lower hoop around edge. I b) Place potpourri mixture inside hoop on the paper. Centre one circle of lace. cut 1“ (3 cm) larger than the diameter of the hoop, over hoop and pot- pourri. c) Attach upper section of hoop and screw tightly. On back, spread glue on edge of paper and inner hoop, and press ex cess fabric to glued area all around the edge. When dry, trim away extra fabric. d) A lace ruffle may be glued to back ofhoop. to extend out- wards framing the hoop. E) Make a ribbon bow and atâ€" tach to hide screw on hoop. This is the top of the decoration.
