All Provinces shared concern to enrol younger members; lack of communication between National and Provincial Conveners; uncertainty over names of Convenerships not being unified; and difficulty created by Provinces operating within different year frames. Mrs. D. Maclnnis. PEI. and Mrs. T. Macdonall. Newfoundland. will co-ordinate a similar meeting in lQXl. Mrs. Gail Smith. representative from UNICEF who had just returned from projects in East Africa. Lesotho and Somalia. showed pictures to combined group. Her greatest concern was for more than 614,000 people inside Somalia. one of the world‘s least developed nations along the Ethiopian border.
