She has written the history of Woodham Church. her local township. as well as researched her family history. Her work with the Women‘s Institutes in Ontario has en- compassed the Convenership of Historical Research and District Tweedsmuir History Convener. along with all the usual offices. Provincially. Mrs. Wilson served as a Board Director. 1954â€"57. on the scholarâ€" ship Committee. represented Mrs. McPhatter at Southwestern and Hamilton Area Conventions and was in charge of organization and receptions in South- western Ontario for the tour of Dame Alice Berry. ACWW President. From l958-6l. she was responsible for Public Rela- tions in F.W.I.C. and in 1961 her horizons expanded and a public relations program was set up in the North. resulting from this program. Northern Lights was published. TV surveys and evaluations have been her respon- sibility both Provincially and Nationally. as well as a CBC radio program in the North. Travel has added to her knowledge. when she was a delegate to ACWW. Ceylon. and the first Northern Canada Women’s Insti» tute Convention in Inuvik.
