The A.C.W.W. Conference Oslo, August 10-19, 1971 Information received at the F.W.I.O. office regarding the International Conference, which is to be held in Oslo, Norway, on August 10- 19, 1971, is as follows: Due to limited accom- modation the number attending is to be 1100 â€" Hostess Fee â€" $28.60 â€" payable upon ar- rival at Oslo. Registration â€"â€" $14.40 payable to A.C.W,W. at the time of registering. Sessions to be held at the University of Oslo and at the Congress Centre. Blindern, Oslo. Accommodations will be at the summer ho- tel at Kringsja as well as at the students' sum- mer hotel at Sogn. Special transportation to be provided between the residences and the Con- ference Centre. The Competitions A.C.W.W. â€" 63-71 There are two Competitions in the present Triennium, one for Handwork (in which there are 3 classes) and one for an Essay. There may be 2 entries from each Constituent Society only. ESSAY COMPETITION SUBJECT MY COUNTRYSIDE, TODAY AND TOMORROW Rules and Conditions A 1. Date and number of entries. Societies are asked to hold a preliminary compe- tition. The two winning entries should be submitted for the international com- petition. . Copyright. The writer of the essays and their Societies must understand that the copyright of the essays submitted be- longs to ACWW and that none of these essays may be made public in any form {or language) before the international awards are announced and, thereafter, the ACWW prize-winning essays may not be published without permission of ACWW. 3. Translation.
