Programmes are made up six months in advance and both the radio station and the committee are very pleased with the results. A great deal of publicity through the press has been given to the Summary Days of the Leaders” Training Schools, and many clippings showed pictures of those taking part and of the articles completed. Thanks were extended to these media for the generosity of space and time. The work of the Women‘s Institute has been made better knoWn by inviting nonmembers to partake of instruction through short courses and leaders‘ training schools, and this has been the means in many cases of increasing the member- ship.
