Lanark South District Lanark South District (Eastern Area) has been putting a tree up in the Perth Festival ofthe Lightsfor several years. In November, local businesses and service clubs have a decorating party at the Crystal Palace in downtown Perth. The trees are all lit on a special evening with music, fireworks and a bon fire. They remain lit until the beginning of January. The building is all glass and is situated next to the Tay Basin. The public is invited to visit the location to view the lit trees and the building is open several weeknights to enter for a closer look.
