baCI2basicS The Provincial Board Gets Back 2 Basics! The FWIO Provincial Board met for its spring Board Meeting from April 11th to 13th in Guelph. Following a discussion on the provincial theme, Back2Basics,andthe manyinteresting topics that Branches and Districts are focusing on, the Board decided to get involved too! One topic that stood out was Wellingtonâ€"Halton District’s ROSE Session on "the ruffled scarfâ€. These beautiful scarves are all the rage right now â€" and they, supposedly, are quite easy to knit! On their downtime, Board Members discovered a yarn shop in Guelph where they bought some yarn and knitting needles. They decided to host their own Back 2 Basics session in their hotel room so that everyone could learn to knit a ruffled scarf. Southern Regional Board Director, Eleanor Williams, ï¬nished one scarf on Wednesday evening and made another on Thursday evening! Board Members proved just how easy it is to get Back 2 Basics!
