On My Mind ~ By F WlO President Carol lnnes I recently made a trip to the East Coast to attend the FWIC Board Meeting and ACWW Conference. It was a wonderful time and much was learned. Are you aware that the FWIC Project for this triennium is Women’s Heart Health? Women’s symptoms of heart problems are different from those of men and are more likely to cause death as they go unnoticed. Has your Branch held a ROSE Session on Women’s Heart Health? Have you sent in your ROSE Program Report Form to the Provincial Office? Pictures are always greatly appreciated. FWIC will be putting togethera slide show for the National Convention in 2012, and welcome any pictures you wish to share of your participation in this project. “Walking Across Canada” is also part of this project. The person who walks the furthest will have her Convention registration paid by FWIC. Please read Christine Reaburn‘s report on page 11 for more information on FWIC Competitions and the 2012 National Convention. Do you know that you help fund the work of ACWW by taking an individual membership as well as with “Pennies for Friendship”? Many Areas take ACWW memberships at their Area Conventions. If you are an individual member, you will receive the ACWW newsletter, “Country Woman," four times per year. If you would like to attend an ACWW Triennial Conference, you will need to be an individual member. The next Triennial Conference will be held in Chennai, India from September 26 - October 2, 2013.
