Most of the families buried their dead on their own farms; Ref: Mr. Frank Mitchell has observed remains of graves on many farms including, The Old Powell Farm on the lake front, and the Old Woodruff farm on the Brock Road Con. 2, now the Marshall Field property. There was a Communal graveyard from very early times on the north side of Con. 4, near Con. 5. The graves are almost obliterated but some are still legible.
